WriterBoy Enterprise LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, d.b.a. WriterBoyFilms ("Company", "we", "us"), operates writerboyfilms.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Effective date: September 16, 2026.
Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, mailing or shipping address, and payment confirmation details when you register, apply, submit, purchase, or contact us; the content of your applications, script submissions, pitch materials, essays, videos, messages, and communications with us; and any account profile information.
Payment information: payments are processed by third-party processors (such as Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number, and we never store payment credentials on our servers.
Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring pages, and other log data collected when you use the Site; cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
Communications: records of emails, session attendance, and correspondence you send us or receive from us, including email open and engagement data used to measure whether our messages are received and read.
We use your information to: provide, operate, and improve the Site and Services; process applications, submissions, registrations, orders, and payments; deliver sessions, materials, and program communications you signed up for; respond to your questions and requests; send service updates, receipts, confirmations, and (if you opt in) newsletters or promotional emails from which you can unsubscribe at any time; protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforce our Terms of Service and other policies; and comply with our legal obligations.
We do NOT sell your personal information. We share information only with: service providers and processors under contract who help us operate (such as payment processing through Stripe, website hosting and platform services, cloud storage and document tools such as Google Workspace, and email delivery services) and only as needed to perform their function; professional advisors (attorneys, accountants) where needed; authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety; and a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets. Session and Disclosed Materials are governed by the mutual non-disclosure agreement you signed and are not shared beyond the Company except as needed to provide the Service.
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (login, cart, security), remembering your preferences and consents, payment processing, and measuring site performance. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control cookies. Our cookie consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described: active accounts, as long as the account is open and a short period afterward; application and program records for the duration of the program plus a reasonable archival period; transaction records for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically seven (7) years); and communications for as long as needed to provide services and maintain our records. We then delete or anonymize the data.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards - such as access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted internal access - to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Programs require users to be at least 18, or minors with a parent or guardian's consent.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share it, so no opt-out is needed); not be discriminated against for exercising these rights; and limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any right, email kylie@writerboyfilms.com. We will respond as required by law, generally within 45 days.
EEA/UK residents have rights under GDPR including: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We process your data on the bases of contract performance, legitimate interests (site security, service improvement, business communications), your consent (where given), and legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Because our servers and providers may be located in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries; we use contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable. Other U.S. states may provide similar rights; see Section 9 for how to reach us.
We honor browser Do Not Track signals where required by law; otherwise, our handling of DNT requests is described in the Cookie Policy.
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top shows the current version. Questions or requests: kylie@writerboyfilms.com, or by mail at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #21888, Casper, Wyoming 82609.
