This Cookie Policy explains how WriterBoy Enterprise LLC, d.b.a. WriterBoyFilms ("Company", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on writerboyfilms.com (the "Site"), and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Effective date: September 16, 2026.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) embedded by us or third parties. They let a site remember your actions, keep you logged in, and understand how the site is used.
Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Site to function - keeping you logged in to the Pitch It portal, Dreamers portal, or royalties portal; remembering items in your cart; processing checkout; preventing fraud; and protecting the security of the platform. These cannot be turned off because the Site would not work without them.
Functional cookies and storage: remember your preferences and choices, such as your cookie consent decision, interface settings, and screeners you have already unlocked with access codes.
Payment cookies: set by our payment processor (such as Stripe) during checkout to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
Embedded content cookies: third parties such as Google Drive (screeners and embedded video) and YouTube (embedded videos) may set cookies when you view or interact with their content on our Site. These are governed by the third party's own policies.
Analytics and performance cookies: if enabled, these help us understand how visitors use the Site - which pages are popular, where visitors come from, and what errors occur - so we can improve. These are set only with your consent where consent is required, and can be rejected through the consent banner or your browser settings.
Email tracking: our emails may contain a small tracking image that tells us whether an email was opened and when. This is described in our Privacy Policy and helps us improve our communications. It is not a website cookie and is not used to profile you beyond our own service records.
Consent banner: when you first visit the Site, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies or reject all non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Site footer, which reopens the banner.
Browser controls: every browser lets you delete, block, or limit cookies through its settings (for example, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each have privacy settings). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break login, checkout, and other core features.
Do Not Track: we treat browser Do Not Track signals as a request to limit non-essential tracking where the law requires it.
Third parties that may set cookies when you use the Site include payment processors (Stripe), video and storage embeds (Google Drive, YouTube), and the Site's hosting and platform provider. We do not control these cookies; see each third party's policy for details. We do not knowingly share your personal information with advertising networks for cross-site advertising.
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Site evolves; the effective date at the top reflects the current version. Questions: kylie@writerboyfilms.com, or by mail at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #21888, Casper, Wyoming 82609.
